"My child was born healthy, after a month, the head started enlarging, we tried medication at my sister's place in Kisii at a level 6 hospital but after sometimes it became worse and we were transferred to Kijabe hospital. On reaching Kijabe, the doctors asked if I could manage Kshs 150,000/= for her surgery, I had nowhere to get the large sum required and I honestly told them I could not manage. The doctors then advised me to go and try find the money to get back my child for treatment. Benta organized for a WatsApp group funds mobilisation and we managed 20,000, I went back to Kijabe to plead with the doctors to take the money available and help rescue my child's condition but they said the money was so little for the services required.
