BUNGOMA SENATE RACE UPDATE! THE UDA STALEMATE...

Image
Is UDA Party under auction from the real hustlers especially in Bungoma to a pre-determined Senatorial flag bearer? As the Ford Kenya candidate Wafula Wakoli continues with his campaign, UDA internal fissures have emerged. Some party officials seem to have deliberately decided to bungle party primaries by playing underhand games by tightly controlling the information which is supposed to be public. The party is facing a credibility crisis since president William Ruto rode to power with promises to the so-called Hustlers that they will be part of his government. It seems like words are easier to utter than actions. One and a half months since he was sworn in, president Ruto and his close allies seem to be at sea with regard to actualization of the pre-election promises. The battle for the UDA ticket in Bungoma has now moved the theater from the party headquarters and statehouse to the courts. Two UDA aspirants Hon. Walter Mukinginyi Trenk and Hon. Timothy Kitang'asi Lukorito have re

Image
Photo courtesy- Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa & Ford Kenya's Wafula Wakoli The senatorial by-election race in Bungoma gets more interesting every passing day with twists and turns as far as the race is concerned. Yesterday on endorsing a Ford Kenya Party Candidate for the senate seat, there were claims made by one of the members of Parliament elected on a UDA Party ticket that UDA will be supporting a Ford Kenya candidate in the by-election. However, the claims were swiftly dismissed by one of the UDA aspirants Hon. Walter Mukinginyi Trenk who termed the claims as wild and unfortunate.   Hon. Trenk said in a statement seen by our reliable source that the UDA party will be fielding a candidate in the by-election and that no relevant organ of the party has ever met to discuss the position taken by the said member of Parliament.  The position taken by the Kimilili Member of Parliament is a personal one and is against the party rules and the Kenyan law governing the conduct of members

"MY CHILD IS SUFFERING, I CAN'T RAISE OVER Kshs 150,000/= FOR HER SURGERY. I NEED YOUR SUPPORT." ~~MERCY NANJALA.

She who knows the pain of a child is the mother... "My child was born healthy, after a month, the head started enlarging, we tried medication at my sister's place in Kisii at a level 6 hospital but after sometimes it became worse and we were transferred to Kijabe hospital. On reaching Kijabe, the doctors asked if I could manage Kshs 150,000/= for her surgery, I had nowhere to get the large sum required and I honestly told them I could not manage. The doctors then advised me to go and try find the money to get back my child for treatment. Benta organized for a WatsApp group funds mobilisation and we managed 20,000, I went back to Kijabe to plead with the doctors to take the money available and help rescue my child's condition but they said the money was so little for the services required. They said they could help reduce the much water in her head but even after that my child has not been well. Doctors told me she has alot of water in her head that it has even blinded her

"KUFWELA MOVEMENT," THE PRIDE OF BUNGOMA, A TSUNAMIC MOVEMENT WHOSE WAVES ARE UNCONTROLLABLY HEAVY!

Image
Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka. Bungoma is of no doubt ripe for a Lusaka two(ii). The Senate Speaker has not intruded the county so much for political engagements and tours but the county electorates seems to have intruded too much in him that they are ready to tell it off to the country. Recently while on a political tour of the Western region, the Deputy president William Ruto at Kamkuywa Market was the first one to face the uncontrollable "KUFWELA Movement Tsunami " as he requested the crowds to vote for UDA party affiliates from the president downwards. Despite Lusaka's gubernatorial bid being neutral as to which political party he will use and for him being a staunch Jubilee member, the deputy president was  amazed at the love and support the former governor enjoys at his home county where he serverd as the first governor on possing a question of who to elect as the governor in 2022, "Lusaka," was a uniform chorus that accompanied the question not withstanding h

Governor Wangamati in Matili R.C. The Council of Elders globally is respected in a society, unlike in the Western province of kenya where in some parts, they are valueless. The politicians and  professionals in the society who should be  infront to support development, and empowerment programs initiated by the Elders, are negatively attending to them and Western Kenya elders have continually received negative attention when seeking for unity especially at now whereby based on population strength, luhyas stand a better chance to win the presidency if their votes end in one ballot box. But how can it be possible when the Secretary of Luhya' Restoration Unity, for the last three years has not been able to access lead political party chiefs to champion the unity of purpose?
