COCAINE TRAFFICKER EJECTED FROM BUS, ARRESTED

  Photo Courtesy: @DCI KENYA on X In a pre-dawn operation, authorities intercepted a Nairobi-bound bus from Moyale, uncovering a significant drug smuggling attempt. Acting on precise intelligence, anti-narcotics detectives, supported by the Operations Support Unit, halted the Score Investment Ltd bus at the Blue Post section of Thika. Their thorough search led to the discovery of 417g of cocaine concealed beneath the inner soles of a passenger's rubber shoes. The arrested individual, identified as 24-year-old Charles Obaga Kavehere, was immediately apprehended. Further investigation at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) revealed additional drugs concealed within his person. It was uncovered that Kavehere had also ingested sachets of narcotics, intending to expel them upon reaching his destination. Currently, Kavehere remains in the custody of JKIA's Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU), awaiting the expulsion of the ingested drugs and undergoing legal procedures. By EoK News Desk,

FIREARM RECOVERED IN KAKAMEGA AS WAR ON CRIMINAL GANGS INTENSIFIES

Nairobi and Kakamega are among places where Crime has surged in the recent past. Mostly youths in their 20s are at the middle of the criminal activities. Detectives based in Kakamega town yesterday evening recovered a firearm suspected to have been stolen from a police officer.  The Ceska pistol loaded with 15 rounds on 9mm calibre was recovered from three suspects who were holed at a house in Mukumu, Khayega location, following an intensive crackdown mounted by the DCI Western command on criminals and criminal gangs in the area.  Following the evening raid, Joseph Maina, 22, Dennis Githae, 25, and Stanley Githae, 20, were arrested and household goods suspected to have been stolen in various robbery incidents within Kakamega recovered.  The items included laptops, smart phones, television sets, home theatres among other electronic

A NOTORIOUS CRIMINAL ARRESTED IN NAIROBI

He is a suspected notorious Mugger whom police have arrested following intelligence they received from the public. The Multi-Agency security team in Nairobi County continues to record great success in accomplishing its objective of maintaining law and order. Yesterday,police in Nairobi on patrol along Outer Ring Road received intelligence that led to the arrest of Dickson Gatonga Njeri. He is a suspected notorious mugger who was positively identified by several victims and has been operating in Huruma and Kariobangi. Upon search, police officers recovered a kitchen knife from him. He was placed in the cells awaiting processing and arraignment.
