STANDING BY THE WORD, LUSAKA PROVES DARLIANCE TO KIMILILI VOICE OF COMRADES BY HONOURING HIS NEW YEAR PROMISE.

Speaker Ken Lusaka addressing Kimilili Comrades on 1st Jan. 2022 at CBSM SCHOOLS Kimilili.

On the first of January 2022, the senate speaker also the Bungoma gubernatorial hopefull had a Meet-the-Comrade meeting at CBSM SCHOOLS in Kimilili Constituency where he interacted with Kimilili Voice of Comrades from all the four wards in the Constituency of Maeni, Kamkuywa, Kibingei and Kimilili Wards.

The Senate speaker despite having been much engaged on the day and for the love and need to hear from his home Constituency Comrades, Lusaka could not think of missing, neither sending a representative to stand in his shoe rather tried all means out to listen by himself to the cries of the students in trying to think of a solution when he gets back as the Bungoma county governor as from August 9th.

Among other issues, Kimilili comrades led by their chairperson Ezra Nambili alias Mwanambeli and the project manager, Alvin Nabwana were categorical in their speeches on why the speaker needs to put more concentration on creating internship opportunities at the county level to ensure that the pool of students getting out of higher learning institutions are provided with something to prove their hard earned skills unlike today where those engaged have struggled so much to attain them with others sitting behind for completely lacking opportunities.

Our beloved speaker of the senate also the incoming Bungoma governor,as Kimilili Voice of Comrades, we would like to request that when we take you back to the county as our governor, please consider an active internship program that will not only benefit Kimilili comrades but the county at large in providing opportunities for our youths so they don't idle around and engage in harmful activities after completing their respective courses... ~Ezra Nambili, KVC-Chair.

Adding on bursaries, internships, position in the county cabinet, the Kimilili Voice of Comrades project manager also requested the speaker to help the group purchase their own tent that will be used when having their meetings and also hiring for some group income.

In response to the same, the speaker promised to deliver the tent, of which sources report that the promise has been delivered, with group executives and members registering their gratitude to the speaker and promising to walk by his side as he has shown that indeed he is a man who can stand by the phrase, " promise what you can deliver and deliver what you promised."
