“WALUKE THE LEAST QUALIFIED TO PONTIFICATE ON CORRUPTION” – GOVERNOR LUSAKA TEARS INTO SIRISIA MP

Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has fired back at Sirisia MP John Waluke over his recent claims of corruption in Bungoma County, dismissing them as "reckless, laughable, and devoid of truth."

In response to Waluke’s remarks that Bungoma lacks development and that the county’s garbage collection tender is unnecessary, Lusaka questioned whether the MP was speaking out of “sheer ignorance” or deliberately ignoring progress.

"It is either that he is blind to reality or simply lacks the capacity to grasp basic civic operations," ~the Governor remarked, pointing to Bungoma’s strides in infrastructure, healthcare, and economic empowerment.

Lusaka, however, reserved his harshest words for Waluke’s credibility on corruption, reminding Kenyans of the MP’s infamous past.

"If there is anyone least qualified to pontificate about corruption, it is Waluke. This is a man who defrauded Kenyans of maize meant to feed starving citizens, and now he wants to lecture others on integrity? The irony is comical," Lusaka declared, referencing Waluke’s conviction in a multi-million maize scandal.

Further discrediting Waluke’s moral standing, Lusaka cited an Auditor General report that exposed Ksh 35 million in fictitious bursary allocations under Waluke’s watch.

"Instead of peddling baseless claims, he should first explain how bursary money meant for needy students disappeared under his watch," the Governor fired.

Accusing Waluke of "cheap blackmail and outdated theatrics," Lusaka maintained that his administration remains focused on visionary leadership and tangible development.

"Constructive criticism is welcome, but outright lies and petty political mudslinging will not be entertained," he asserted,

Vowing that no amount of noise from desperate politicians will derail Bungoma’s progress.

With these sharp remarks, Lusaka has not only dismissed Waluke’s claims but also turned the spotlight on the MP’s own tainted past, raising the question of whether Waluke has any moral ground to speak on corruption at all.
