Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala and Mp. Beatrice Adagala have today camped in Kakamega county on an ANC party popularization program, Voter registration sensitization and a move also seen to be neutralizing DP RUTO'S immediate visit to the counties of Western Kenya, Kakamega and Busia.

Just a day after the DP visited the county with UDA's Kakamega gubernatorial aspirant, Dr. Boni Khalwale, the ANC legislators were out to counter the former's visit in favor of the party's presidential hopeful, Musalia Mudavadi.

ANC party has been consistent in confirming their commitment to fielding a presidential candidate in the next general elections and the Party Leader, Musalia Mudavadi as much as he is one of the One Kenya Alliance principals who are yet to declare their candidate of whom he is believed to be the one, Mudavadi has on different occasions assured millions of his supporters of appearing on the ballot come 2022.

Vihiga Women representative, Beatrice Adagala was in the company of senator Malala in a tour they described as ANC Party Popularization and Voter sensitization tour of Kakamega county.

Kakamega gubernatorial race is taking shape as the days to the next poll continues to shade off.

Among the top contenders is the Senator, Cleophas Malala, (ANC), Lugari Mp Ayub Savula (ANC) and the former senator who will battle it out with a UDA Party ticket.

Kakamega is believed to be Musalia's bedroom and Senator Malala and Vihiga Woman rep Adagala were quick to prove and ensure the ground remains tight as they hold the county at ransom with the ANC Party and Mudavadi's gospel as they urged the locals to ensure they register as voters and to take part in the voting activity in August 2022.
