WHICH WAY KIMILILI? BRYAN KHAEMBA OR DIDMUS BARASA?

Kimilili MP Hopefull, Wakili Bryan Khaemba.

Kimilili MP, Didmus Barasa.

With as little as 10 days to the general elections, Kimilili Constituency of Bungoma county is one to watch with a keen eye.

Seemingly experiencing a significant shift to let the incumbent Member of Parliament Didmus Barasa out of office, Barasa's loss if it materializes in the next ten days will be attributed to his much engagement in the regional coalition politics at the expense of defending his seat, untrustworthiness as far as his "storey" development projects is concerned as well his support for specific MCA aspirants in the four wards that have pushed the remaining pull of aspirants to rally their support behind the vibrant lawyer Bryan Mandila Khaemba for according to them, Khaemba knows how to accommodate all irregardless of their differences brought about by the fact that they are all after one political seat.

To the incumbent, he believes that his association with Bungoma's"timely idea" according to voters, senate Speaker and the gubernatorial hopefull, Ken Lusaka will land him votes easily whereas his rival competitor is consistently on the ground convincing electorates on why him and not the former.

When inquiring about what has happened on the ground, from an opinion poll that almost ranked the incumbent to the maximum percentage points which is said to have relaxed the honourable member, to a race whose winner can't be foretold today for a reason of stiff competition from the recent figures, Bryan Khaemba scores for being consistent with his campaign messaging as well acceptance by the people of the need to taste the new regime led by Khaemba that is after equalizing both hardware development and software development.

With Khaemba's campaign speeches as witnessed in the meetings around the Constituency, the bigger picture is all but what Kimilili deserves, what Kimilili has, what it lacks on their priority list as well what he offers to bring on the table to satisfy their deserving list of wants!

To the contrary, Didmus Barasa's campaign speeches is about the two leading presidential candidates, his party leader also the deputy president and Kenya Kwanza's flagbearer William Ruto as well as the former premier Raila Odinga of the Azimio One Kenya coalition.

To the people of Kimilili, they are well informed of who they will choose on 9th as their president, with a good number willing to vote in the incumbents'choice of candidate on the top seat but uneasy about considering him for the parliamentary post for when he campaigns for his master's, he forgets about the needful for the people of Kimilili.

Are 10 days enough for a Didmus Barasa's comeback ? It is not certain for everyone is campaigning to their very best and as such the decision on 9th is highly awaited.

Which Way Kimilili?
