What you need to know;

  • Hon. David Wafula Wakoli is the Ford Kenya Party Candidate for Bungoma Senate position.

  • Wakoli was cleared today by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to vie for the position.

  • Bungoma governor Ken Lusaka was in attendance, with a host of Ford Kenya Party officials, Members of Parliament and a host of MCA's.

  • Governor Lusaka promised a more vibrant campaign than what was experienced in the just concluded August elections.
Hon. David Wafula Wakoli has today been cleared by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, IEBC to contest for the Bungoma Senate seat on a Simba party ticket, legally recognized as Ford Kenya.

Wakoli was handed his certificate of clearance by IEBC County Returning officer, Mrs. Grace Rono at the IEBC offices today morning in Bungoma.

Wakoli was accompanied by a host of Ford Kenya party officials, elected Members of National Assembly and Members of County Assembly together with Bungoma County governor, Ken Lusaka.

Wakoli has promised to offer exemplary leadership that has no boundaries of class, age or gender, promising to serve both Hustlers, Dynasties, Youths, Women, Children and the elderly people in Bungoma County.

He has vowed to peacefully run his campaigns to sell his agenda to the people in a peaceful manner.

Wakoli promised to ensure that Bungoma taxpayers money is accountably used for their benefit once elected into the senate.

On his part, Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka congratulated Wakoli for his clearance by the Commission and assured his full Support in ensuring that victory is achieved on December 8th.

Lusaka promised a more vibrant campaign than what was witnessed in the 9th August polls.

They have promised to walk the journey with everyone including but not limited to Churches, all Hustlers and Dynasties in Bungoma County.

Setting his eyes on the final prize, Wakoli is expected to hit the road running, campagning and working tirelessly for the victory he desires.

IEBC is expected to make public names of those cleared to contest after the activity is brought to an end.
