What you need to know;

  • Hon. Julius Masinde is giving Kenya Kwanza Alliance Candidates sleepless nights over his popularity in the county.

  • This is after Masinde took lead in two stroke polls said to have been initiated by UDA.

  • With the little percentage of voters who took part, Masinde was on the front followed by UDA's Mwambu Mabonga.

Bungoma Senatorial race is taking a different route latest being on the voters preference as far as the Candidates are concerned.

Julius Masinde has given Kenya Kwanza sleepless nights as two polls said to have been commissioned by UDA in the last 48hrs shows the Independent candidate has a clear lead in popularity ahead of the December 8th Bungoma Senatorial by elections.

Masinde has been consistent with his messaging to the public on why they need to consider his candidature, and reminding them of his commitment to better the lives of all including but not limited to small and large scale traders where he worked as an egg entrepreneur.


In the first poll, Masinde was leading with 36.32% of voters who took part equivalent to 142 votes followed closely by UDA's Mwambu Mabonga with 20.78% representing 81 votes.

DAP-K's Wafula Wamunyinyi came third with 18.93% representing 74 votes and Ford Kenya's Wafula Wakoli in a distant 4th position with 15.35% which represented 60, number of votes.



Masinde is still taking an early lead in the second poll that is expected to close in a week's time.
