What you need to know;
- Savula was responding to Interior CS Prof. Kithure Kindiki on the rising crimes witnessed in Nairobi.
- He said CS Kindiki should consider using Inspector general of Police, Japheth Koome on press to issue statements.
- Savula in comparing Kindiki to former interior CS Matiang'i, he says Matiang'i had a voice that on giving orders from the press, could frighten Allshabaab and other thugs.
- Savula is the current deputy governor of Kakamega County, under Azimio La Umoja coalition.
Following a surge in crime cases in Nairobi City specifically around Nairobi CBD where people are being robbed in broad daylight and threatened if they try to resist, interior CS Prof. Kithure Kindiki had issues a warning to those involved in robbing and threatening other Kenyans going around their business in Nairobi CBD of facing the full force of law as he made an assurance of the government's immediate response to the ongoing criminal activities in the city.
Those boys who have dared the government and want to tell us that they can take over the city and make it a city of crime, we have heard you and therefore we are coming effective immediately. ~~Prof Kithure Kindiki – Interior CS, Prof. Kithure Kindiki.

Kakamega deputy governor was quick to react on Kindiki's orders, asking him to instead be using Inspector general of Police, Japheth Koome to issue such press statements on TV, saying his voice unlike Kindiki's might atleast frighten the thugs.
To Savula, Former Interior CS, Fred Matiang'i had a strong commanding voice that just at his word, Criminals could start trembling before police reached them.
KENYANS know that CS Matiangi would speak with authority and Alshabab and other thugs would shiver, CS Kindiki with his voice it is like music to the ears of crime offenders. Let IG Koome cover for him and make statements on TV. ~~Hon. Ayub Angatia Savula, Kakamega deputy governor.

Very unreasonable. Does voice have anything to do with operations of law enforcers? The most important thing is the strategy police will use to combat crime in the country, more so in Nairobi.
