  • Cherera led the team of four to denounce Chebukati's Bomas results which were uphold by the court.

  • Cherera's resignation follows that of Commisioner Justus Nyang'aya .
IEBC Vice chair person Juliana Cherera has today tendered her resignation letter as the Commision's Vice Chair.

Her resignation follows that of Commisioner Justus Nyang'aya recently who also resigned as a Commisioner of the Independent body.

Cherera and Nyang'aya were among the four IEBC desenting Commisioners who disputed Chairman's Wafula Chebukati's results of announcing President William Samoei Ruto as the President-elect.

Cherera addressed her letter to the President through the Public Service board.
