Bungoma County leaders marked Eid ul-Fitr with acts of generosity and unity, distributing foodstuffs to Muslim communities across the region. Through coordinated efforts, the office of Bungoma Woman Representative Catherine Wambilianga and Bungoma Senator Wafula Wakoli ensured that families in need could fully partake in the festivities.
In the spirit of Eid ul-Fitr, Woman Rep. Wambilianga’s office, represented by Manager Selah Wanyonyi, delivered food aid to the Muslim faithful in Webuye, Mateka, Malakisi, Chwele, and Maeni. The gesture, which aligns with the values of sharing and compassion central to the celebration, aimed to reinforce social cohesion and support for the community.
