CHEBUKWA, BUNGOMA – In a heartfelt celebration of compassion this Easter, over 1,000 widows gathered at Chebukwa Primary School in West Nalondo Ward to receive food donations—an initiative led by Bungoma Senator Wafula Wakoli's team and supported by local leaders.
The event was more than just a relief exercise—it was a bold statement of community, hope, and empowerment. Widows from across the county were honored not just with gifts, but with recognition of their strength and resilience.
“This is a reminder that no one should walk alone in pain. Together, we restore dignity, we inspire courage,” Senator Wakoli said.
