Sports dreams are taking shape in Vihiga as today Hon. Beatrice Adagala, the Vihiga County Woman Representative and 2027 gubernatorial hopeful, joined hands with Hon. Eliud Owalo, Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the President, for a high-impact sports empowerment initiative at Vihiga High School.

The event, marked by excitement and purpose, saw the donation of 30 high-quality tracksuits to Vihiga United Football Club, courtesy of the Eliud Owalo Foundation.

“These kits represent more than just new uniforms—they symbolize belief, motivation, and a renewed drive to push our team to greatness,” said Hon. Adagala.

The occasion brought together former Kenyan football legends, local leaders, school administrators, and fans who echoed a shared vision—to nurture homegrown talent and position Vihiga on the national sports map.

As a passionate advocate of youth empowerment through sports, Hon. Adagala affirmed that through the Adagala Foundation, she will continue supporting football tournaments, athletics, and related initiatives in every ward across the county.

“When we invest in sports, we invest in hope. We give our youth a reason to dream and a path to shine,” she added.
