In a bold display of faith-driven leadership and grassroots commitment, Hon. Fred Joshua Makokha, Kimilili MP aspirant, has continued to win hearts and minds across the constituency through spiritual engagement and direct interaction with residents on matters of development and service delivery.

This Easter Sunday, Makokha joined worshippers at Khamulati Friends Church in Kimilili Ward, where he delivered a message of renewal, hope, and unity as Christians marked the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

“It was a spiritually uplifting service as we celebrated the resurrection of our Lord and Savior—a moment that reminds us of the power of hope and the importance of community,” Makokha said.

Makokha was accompanied by Ford Kenya National Youth Co-ordinator, Wanjala Sakwa & Mr. Collins Osoro, a vibrant and visionary Gen Z leader whose passion for youth empowerment and community development was evident throughout the engagement. Their presence sparked inspiration among the congregation and symbolized a generational bridge in leadership.

Later that day, Makokha continued his hands-on approach to leadership by visiting Nasioya Village in Maeni Ward. There, he met with residents in an open forum where concerns were raised and ideas shared.

“I believe in responsive and people-centered leadership. The solutions to our challenges lie within us, and it starts with listening,” Makokha affirmed.

In yet another impactful engagement, Makokha was warmly received in Siiyilila Village, Chebukwabi in Kibingei Ward, where he held candid discussions focused on youth empowerment, inclusive development, and improved service delivery.

“Your voices matter. I am committed to walking this journey of transformation with you. Together, we can build the Kimilili we all deserve,” he declared.

As the 2027 election season begins to take shape, Hon. Makokha’s strategy of blending faith, youth engagement, and community-centered dialogue is resonating deeply with constituents across the board.

Whether in church pews or village pathways, one thing is becoming increasingly clear: Kimilili’s finest may very well be Kimilili’s future. Only Time will tell.
