The Wisconsin Supreme Court election, set for today April 1, 2025, has become a focal point of national interest due to significant financial contributions and endorsements from prominent figures, including President Donald J. Trump and entrepreneur Elon Musk.


President Trump's Endorsement

President Trump has publicly endorsed conservative candidate Brad Schimel, a former Republican attorney general. In a statement on his social media platform, Trump criticized Schimel's opponent, Susan Crawford, labeling her the "handpicked voice of the Leftists who are out to destroy your State, and our Country." 


Elon Musk's Financial Involvement

Elon Musk has actively participated in the election by providing substantial financial support to Schimel's campaign. Musk and affiliated groups have contributed over $21 million, making this the most expensive judicial race in U.S. history. Additionally, Musk's political action committee, America PAC, offered $100 to Wisconsin voters who signed a petition opposing "activist judges."

At a recent rally in Green Bay, Musk handed out $1 million checks to two Wisconsin voters, declaring them spokespeople for his political group. This move came after the Wisconsin Supreme Court declined to block the giveaways, despite concerns raised by the state's Democratic attorney general regarding potential violations of election laws.
