Prime Cabinet Secretary (PCS) Musalia Mudavadi has reaffirmed the National Government’s unwavering commitment to completing key flagship development projects in Malava Constituency, assuring residents that no initiative started under the late MP Malulu Injendi’s leadership will stall.

Speaking during a strategic consultative session with Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) from the seven wards of Malava at a local development forum, Mudavadi emphasized the need for a structured implementation and tracking plan to ensure that each project is seen through to operationalization.

“These projects are a testament to the vision and service of the late Hon. Injendi. Completing them is not just a development goal — it is a duty to his legacy and to the people of Malava,” said Mudavadi.

The meeting resolved to empower MCAs to lead from the front in tracking project milestones and providing timely updates to the PCS office. This model, Mudavadi noted, would ensure accountability, transparency, and responsive governance at the grassroots level.

In light of the upcoming by-election in Malava, the PCS called on the leaders present to preach unity and renewed hope.

“This is a moment for deep reflection,” he said. “Malava must now choose a leadership that will serve selflessly and build on the foundations laid before.”

In attendance were MCAs Kevin Mahelo (Butali/Chegulo), Josephat Wakukha (South Kabras), Kefa Musiya (East Kabras), Peter Wanami (Shirungu/Mugai), Geoffrey Sikolia (Chimuche), Truphenah Asembo and Daphniey Masinza (Nominated), as well as Titus Kwoma from Chekalini Ward in Lugari Constituency.

The session signals a coordinated move by the National Government to keep development on track in Malava, even amid political transition.
