Setting her eyes on the prize, Bungoma Women Rep position come august 9th. Dr. Mutekhele will among other things advocate for the recognition of the place of a woman in not only the society of Bungoma but the country at large only but to set Bungoma as an example, an admirable example of all the 47 counties.


Dr. Mutekhele being a former teacher and a girl child mother has no option but to ensure the feminine gender is given the maximum concentration it deserves to sweep off all discrimination like acts in ensuring the voice of a Bungoma girl is heard and acted upon as urgency may dictate.


With high rates of school-going-teen pregnancies and dropouts in Bungoma, Dr. Mutekhele is committed and willing to perform to perfectity as a legislator in the Kenya's national assembly to introduce bills that are dear to protecting the young girls' sexuality to keep them in school until their rightful moment of mothering knocks. Dr. Mutekhele is also a believer in the many women organisations & 'mikandas' that despite critism from their male counterparts have been a source of family income and they have kept many families going. Through the Affirmative Action Development fund, Dr. Mutekhele promises to bump enough money to such organized groups not only for women but youths too in ensuring the smooth running of their activities hence a productive Bungoma.


Dr. Beryl Mutekhele if given chance to represent Bungoma in the National assembly is keen on building a Male-Female friendly culture that will see both genders recognize each other as they should be to keep off the assertion that Women are lesser people. This will see her promote women inclusivity in male dominated fields and organizing programs that will see women showcase the best of their abilities that were earlier thought otherwise.

Dr. Mutekhele is one woman who believes in the inevitability of Change and her willingness to change the fortunes of Bungoma county speaks it all. She is one ready to loose everything to see the mention of Bungoma in the positive pages unlike the past stories of teen pregnancies among others. She is ready to battle it out with the incubent and several contenders in the August 9th polls.


With policies and ideas dear to the people of Bungoma, Dr. Beryl Mutekhele has placed herself as the coming savior in Bungoma, especially for the feminine gender upon them getting saved, a society that is gender unbiased will be evident hence a win-win for all including men.
