SUPPORTING EDUCATION ! THE CALL AND STORY OF MAURICE WAFULA FROM SANGO AREA IN KIMILILI CONSTITUENCY OF BUNGOMA COUNTY.

The sweetest part of Education is success! In success, successful friends are made aren't they in Kimilili constituency of Bungoma county? 

Organizing meetings to help students join Universities or pay fees to continue with their studies is a common activity in Kimilili not to bother the Constituency CDF office neither the County Government nor the office of the Woman Representative! 

Bungoma is one county known for scholarships, has a woman representative with though little, an allocation for bursaries to needy students. Kimilili constituency is too known for its Member of Parliament being dear to Educational demands but does the demands end at infrastructural developments to end at building storey buildings?

To where will students like Maurice run to for help? The Area MP Didmus Barasa ? The Governor Wangamati? Women Rep ? In the current political season, it may disturb no Politician for they are busy strategizing to win elections and continue walking over such societal demands especially in education. On the above reason, The family of Maurice Wafula Wanyonyi in conjunction with the Friends Church Khamulati, Kimilili Voice of Comrades and Matili Friends School Charity Group has organized for a fee support program on the 28th of May 2022 to help a comrade join University to pursue his career dream. 

Hello! My name is Maurice Wafula Wanyonyi. I schooled at matili friends secondary school and sat my exams the year 2020 . I passed well and secured a chance at KMTC Mombasa to persue my Carrier. I could not manage to report to KMTC Mombasa due to insufficient funds. To worsen the situation my father died which made me loose hope completely. I had frequent consultations with friends and former schoolmates who encouraged me to have hope. With the aid of friends , a harambee has been scheduled to take place on 28th may 2022 at my late father's home in sango area , past matili RC. I beseech you in the name of the Lord to kindly help me meet my dreams. I currently stay at my auntie's place in matili RC . God bless you in advance as you plan to help.

It is a Matter that has demanded action according to organizers for they have believed to get help but unfortunately has not come their way hence a biblical quote, "Faith Without Action is dead ! "

" In kimilili , comrades lives doesn't matter , am not decampaigning anyone but look at this , a smart ghorofa is constructed in your former primary School , you're in highschool with no school fees , you drop out of skull, or you finish class 8 and there's no cash to help you join highschool , or you through thick and thin finish highschool ,pass with flying colours then join Chang'aa and Busa Brewers or users , reason being no fees , you're an ophan and no one is willing to help you persue your carrier. You go kneel down before that ghorofa in your former primary school and ask for help , is a ghorofa of any help to you ? Why are there no bursaries in kimilili , Comrades are deferring, Comrades are commiting suicide , 'Msaaada wetu utatoka wapi? Tusidanganywe . Tusaidiane wenyewe kwa wenyewe . ' "

Maurice has not been in the comfort zone on matters his education, he has gone out and far but nothing to smile about.

" Mourice transversed to other Constituency for bursary assistance. There are so many youths who have not continued with Education due to lack of fees. The Comrades , elders and through public effort tried to access Cdf assistance which has not been honoured by the authodox Cdf Committee. The funds, benefit outsider's ,non-voters in kimilili, and the Multi Storey buildings' Contractor. While at The funeral of Maurice late Father,The Kimilili Cdf Member, Mr Tabani Promised that Cdf Kimilili will pay KMTC fees as Soon as Possible. As at Now, as usual, THEY HAVE NOT! "

Where are the Academicians and education well wishers ? The leadership for it can't be called off ? When Maurice is educated, he will change the societal illiteracy and the whole community will benefit.
