In putting first things first, Kimilili constituency in Bungoma is nowhere near understanding the meaning of the phrase. In Kimilili, it's advisable you plant maize seeds before buying a land but the question is where will you be planting the seeds? You buy the very expensive vehicle but pack it by the roadside for you have nowhere to pack just to come back and find remains of a car.

In his quest to represent Kimilili Constituency as their member of parliament, Former High Court Magistrate and advocate, Lawyer Bryan Khaemba, famously refered to us "Wakili BK " is after streamlining the way things are done in the constituency to the right way they should be done.

Bryan Khaemba appreciates the fact that the current member of parliament has committed his 5years as the MP to build storey buildings in some parts of the constituency only to a disappointment that in doing so, he sidelined what was to be done first or in lign with the development.

Wakili Bryan is disappointed that Kimilili as a constituency boasts of having storey buildings in several primary schools but from the same, a child is denied education for lack of twenty shillings to pay for exams money therefore staying out exposed to child labor in search of as little as twenty shillings.

From the CDF allocations in the constituency, the loudest and sole development is the primary school storey's which Wakili and thousands of other Kimililians wonder if they are to serve the secondary-school-going population and tertiary too.

"Yes we have storey's in several primary schools in Kimilili, of what benefit with no children inside? Does the Education of Kimilili son's and daughter's end at primary school? Where are birsaries for needy children's struggling to join secondary schools and universities? The Kimilili education does not need to end in primary school and am committed to change this come August this year. "

Wakili Bryan Khaemba, Kimilili MP hopefull.

To Wakili Bryan Khaemba, it is not the wish of any parent to be poor nor that of a child to be born in a poor family. It is upon the the leadership to be creative and come up with programs that will engage such parents to get food on the table so when a bursary is given to them today, it can be given to another person tomorrow for the former will have found an engagement that will help them pay school fees.

On the Kimilili education, Wakili Bryan Khaemba has been the loudest in raising the voice of reason, questioning where the bursary monies are as he has been going rounds in the constituency attending funds-drive to support needy students.

Bryan Khaemba will square it out on a DAP-K ticket with Didmus Barasa, the incumbent vying on a UDA ticket and the new entry of Erastus Muchimuti of Jubilee, this is after the Australian based Michael Koloboy and the Bungoma county Chief officer Health, Patrick Wandili stepped down!

Is Kimilili ready for Wakili Bryan Khaemba ? Time will tell.
