A name that was formerly heard in classroom, then on official educational functions while she served as the CEC for Education in Governor Lusaka's government, launching projects and defying odds to employ as many ECDE teachers for the benefit of her people, Beryl Namalwa Mutekhele is today a household name in Bungoma served with many like air.

With over ten women representative aspirants. The interest around MUTEKHELE's candidature is unmatched not withstanding the high profiled politicians the incubent and other aspirants are going round in their company.

Namalwa Mutekhele Khalagai, as cleared and expected on the ballot paper is one candidate whose single breathe is a puncture to the other camps. With no record of ills but glittering deliverables, Bungoma county seems set to forget and bury party loyalty & Kingpin based politics to that of ideas and as if that is not enough, ideas that are dear to the majority residents in the county. That is to mean, Bungoma county is willing and ready to put first things first as opposed to what has been there before.

Among the pool of aspirants now candidates cleared by IEBC to vie for the county Woman MPs post that has been in existence for the past 9years, Beryl Namalwa Mutekhele Khalagai is the outstanding one whose campaign messaging got nothing personal with any candidate in office or not, no matter the position but centered on her agenda which she believes will cure the ills surrounding the second capital of Western Kenya that requires services of a woman Representative.

With an all-round manifesto, bulky of goodies to the people of Bungoma which she is out selling, Dr. Mutekhele has placed his bid higher and research shows that among the most sought after candidates by both voters and other candidates in other positions to work together, Beryl Namalwa Mutekhele Khalagai is a name that to the women candidates tops the list. 

Setting the ladder more higher, Mutekhele's gospel has been received well with majority voters to an extent they longe to see her even pass by as a way of stamping what they believe will make Bungoma county great again. Nothing more!

For those who had lost hope in a woman Representative and were even after the position being scrubbed off, in Beryl Mutekhele they got a reason to give it a trial once more. With the overwhelming support and the continued positivity towards her candidature,  Beryl Mutekhele is today a hotcake in the politics of Bungoma.

She sells and spreads like bushfire!
