He was born in Eldoret, bred at Mufutu in Bungoma town, with the ancestral home in kimaeti.

Education.

Hon. Julius Masinde first started attaining his primary education at Moi primary school, proceeded to Taita High school and later his tertiary education at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology.

Residence

As at now, Hon. Masinde is a resident of Bungoma town.

Hon. Julius Masinde is a humble and God fearing man who believes purely in God and His mighty ways of working. He's a man who relates all his successes to God and that has given him a soft landing field specifically with the christian family of believers in Bungoma County. He is currently the Diocesan Chair of the Kenya Anglican Youth Organization (Diocese of Bungoma)

Masinde is a Bungoma based entrepreneur, currently serving as the Chairperson of the Egg  Traders Association of Kenya (ETRA) , a position and venture that has landed him the brand, Hustler We Kamaki .

Hon. Masinde is also the liason Secretary Disaster Mitigation Professional Association.

He holds a BSc in Disaster Management & International Diplomacy from Masinde Muliro University of Science & Technology.

-Quality representation and legislation

Hon Julius Masinde is out to ensure Bungoma gets the best out of him.

Following the footsteps of the now Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetangula, Masinde is up to even do much more in ensuring proper representation and legislation in the upper house, The senate of Kenya.

Masinde once elected Senator promises to sponsor bills that will uplift the livelihoods of the common people of Bungoma as well fight for enough funding of Bungoma as he oversights the same.

-Objectivity in oversight

Masinde unlike others who are just promising to oversight, he is categorical that in performing his oversight role as a Senator he will always stand to do it objectively so that the people of Bungoma benefits more and not for his individual gains.

Hon. Julius Masinde being an entrepreneur promises to go extra miles in empowering SMEs, youths activities among them talent development among other communal programs of benefit to his people.
