Were it for the philosophers, they could have said, Young Age is the precious gift one could have in life and for James Sikuku, it won't be enough to call it a precious gift if not serving the people of his mother county, Bungoma as a Senator.

At just 25 years, Hon. James Sikuku on succeeding may end up as the youngest Senator in the upper house to replace the now speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Moses Wetangula.

Bungoma senatorial race has attracted a large number of men and women seeking to replace the Ford Kenya party leader. To many, this is a chance they won't be willing to let go but to Hon. James Sikuku, it is not about him but the capability he carries as far as representation of Bungoma and more so the place of youths in the entire County is concerned.

Hon. James W. Sikuku is a 25year old passionate Youth willing and ready to serve the interests of his people in the said office.

He resides in Webuye East Constituency, Lufwindiri village of Maraka Ward.

Hon. James Sikuku is from the famous clan of Bachikha Bacharia.

He is a student of Economics and finance/Piloting from Kenyatta University.

Hon. Sikuku attained his secondary education from Kakamega high school, after finishing his primary school studies at Nzoia Primary.

Vision.

Born and bred to be a leader. James Sikuku has always been a leader from primary school up to the university. He has always been passionate about leadership which triggered his interest in politics. Having analyzed Kenya's politics for the past years, Sikuku believes it is time to take a leap in the ocean and seek a position to represent his people.

Ideology 

" I believe in transformative leadership, with president Ruto as my role model. His resilience and determination has inspired me that indeed I too can make it against all the odds. "

About the reasons to vie, Hon. Sikuku had this to say, 

" My passion for leadership has always been to see transformation among the people I lead. As the incoming senator for Bungoma County, I indent to lobby for social and economic transformation for my people. I will be their voice at tables and boardrooms where they cannot access. I will stand to see the rights and concerns of those who have entrusted me are served to them in due share. "

Hon. James Sikuku understands the demanding nature of the call he is after, the deep waters of baptism to some extent by fire but he is not one to surrender and let down his supporters.

 " I will not let the fear of sticking out stop me from playing the game. My desire is that of the very common person, I stand to represent the youth of Bungoma as well all the generations around Bungoma. I want to go and fight for what belongs to my people, I will do it with wisdom of a 80-year old man and passion and commitment of one at my age. I will stop at nothing but the best for Bungoma. "

Which way Bungoma? Hon. James W. Sikuku is one of the aspirants with interest in the vacant office of the Senator.
