HOT AIR PART 2 ? KARUA FILES PETITION AT EAC ...

Hon. Martha Karua.

What you need to know;

  • Azimio La Umoja One Kenya deputy presidential flag bearer Martha Karua has file a petition at East African Court challenging Supreme court rulling that upheld President William Ruto's victory.

  • Karua I seeking to overturn president William Ruto's win as the president of Kenya.

  • She filed the petition alongside Khelif Khelef of the Muslims for Human Rights advocacy group.

  • The petition was officially filed on November 3 at the East Africa Court's registry in Arusha Tanzania.

Martha Karua, and human rights campaigner Khelef Khalifa of Muslims for Human Rights (MUHURI) lodged an elections petition at the East African Court of Justice (EACJ) in Tanzania.

Lawyer Khelef

They claim that the IEBC failed to properly manage the August 9th 2022 elections by ceding critical aspects of the process.

They also accuse IEBC of failing to register eligible voters, maintain an accurate and clean Register of Voters, publish it on time, and guarantee its integrity through a publicly available audit.

Earlier, Azimio La Umoja One Kenya deputy presidential flag bearer Martha Karua had hinted at possibilities of lodging for a case which was fullfilled on November 3 at the courts registry in Arusha Tanzania.

This is not about the election but about justice. The court said our evidence was HOT AIR and we can take it to the East Africa Court of justice to discuss the judgement!  ~~Hon Martha Karua.

They further claim that unauthorised persons accessed, deleted and uploaded election results and that the electoral management body, which was dysfunctional, did not investigate or respond to complaints.

Whether the court will uphold the "hot air" version of judgement delivered by Kenya's Supreme court is a matter of time!
