What you need to know;

  • Hon. Julius Masinde pitched camp in Sirisia Constituency today to marshal support as he seeks to take over senate responsibilities.

  • Masinde, together with Sirisia Constituency residents urged the court to allow and accept Waluke's appeal to be released on bail terms.

  • Hon. Waluke was jailed for 67 years with a slap of 69years to his business associate Mrs. Wakhungu or be released on a cash, 1b bond.

  • Masindes'candidature got a boost as locals agreed to fully back him and ensure he clinches the seat.


Bungoma Senatorial hopeful Julius Masinde has today called for the release of Sirisia MP John Waluke on bail terms so that he can be allowed to work for Sirisia people as their Member of Parliament.

Hon. Masinde was speaking during his Meet-the-people tour in Sirisia Constituency today November 3rd, few days to the scheduled 8th December by-elections.

He shared his vision of a better Bungoma with him as the Senator to the people of South Kulusiru/malakisi ward, Lwandanyi ward and Namwela wards in Sirisia constituency.

Sirisia locals were eager to know the aspirants' stand on their MP's jail term where he agreed with the views of the locals that the area MP should be granted bail pending his appeal so that he can work for his constituency.

The local residents assured him of their full support and votes in the forthcoming senatorial by elections.

" MP John Waluke should be released on bail to let him work for his people pending his appeal. Sirisia constituents like others shouldn't be denied a chance to enjoy the services of their MP. We call upon the relevant authorities to ensure this succeeds and justice is delivered. " ~~HON. JULIUS MASINDE, Bungoma senatorial hopeful.

On his senate gospel, the aspirant was loud on his agendas and promised to deliver the best not to let the electorates down.

Masinde promised to ensure the office of Bungoma Senator stands out in Kenya as far as delivering on his constitutional duties, if elected is concerned.

Hon. Julius Masinde is vying as an independent candidate with an egg as his symbol resulted by his famous hustle as an egg entrepreneur which has earned him the title " Hustler We Kamaki"

    Hon.waluke was convicted in 2022 by the handshake brothers, but people have been silent.
