OVER 2000 YEARS MYSTERY HIDDEN IN THE BIBLE. BY PASTOR GIULIA...

The occurrence of various disasters, outbreaks of wars and the worldwide spread of the pandemic—the appearance of these signs indicates that the prophecies of the Lord’s return have been fulfilled.
As it says in the scripture: “And as He sat on the mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world? … For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows” (Matthew 24:3, 7–8)."
Believers have been anxiously waiting for the Lord to return on a cloud and take them up into the sky, to save them from this dark world, from the disasters, and from the painful life, and to take them into the kingdom of heaven. Most people have been gazing up at the sky and praying nonstop, waiting to see the Lord descending with a cloud, not daring to look away, afraid that if they miss the Lord’s return, they’ll be cast aside into disaster.
But it’s been devastating for them to see that the disasters have come, and prophecies of the Lord’s return have been fulfilled, but yet they haven’t welcomed the Lord Jesus descending down from the sky. They are wondering why they haven’t welcomed the Lord Jesus down from the sky.
Actually, how the Lord will come back is a great mystery. Today, we’re going to forcus a bit on the Lord Jesus’ prophecies and discuss different understandings of the Lord’s return.
Some people believe, since the Book of Revelation clearly prophesies, “Behold, He comes with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him” (Revelation 1:7), the Lord will surely come back in the clouds, and there is no reason to doubt it. However, there are many OTHER prophecies in the Bible about how the Lord will come again, and it is not just coming in the clouds.
Speaking of this, some may ask: “Are you saying that there are other ways for the Lord to come again?”
Let us quiet our hearts and carefully ponder other prophecies in the Bible about the Lord’s second coming. Now, let us take a look at some of the prophecies spoken by the Lord Jesus Himself.
📕📕 “Behold, I come as a thief” (Revelation 16:15).
📕📕 “If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you shall not know what hour I will come on you” (Revelation 3:3).
📕📕 “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him” (Matthew 25:6).
📕📕 “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20)."
Have you noticed something? These verses contain key phrases such as “as a thief,” “at midnight there was a cry made,” and “stand at the door, and knock.” Doesn’t this show that when it comes to the Lord’s return, besides His public descent upon a cloud, He also will will come in a secret way?
Think about it. If the Lord would only come by descending upon a cloud, there will be a number of great portents. The sun and moon will no longer shine, the stars will fall from the sky, and heaven and earth will shake. That will certainly be an earth-shaking scene, and everyone will definitely see it, and know about it. Then how will the prophecies be fulfilled that the Lord will come ""as a thief,"" and that He will stand outside knocking on the door? When the Lord descends on a cloud, everyone will see it. Will anyone need to testify: ""The bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him""?"
The Lord Jesus said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away” (Mark 13:31). The Lord’s words are the truth, and every sentence will be fulfilled and accomplished, and will never be spoken in vain. If the Lord would only come by descending upon a cloud, then how could the prophecies of Him coming in secret be fulfilled? So according to His prophecies, there are two ways in which the Lord will come again: He will first come in a hidden way, then appear openly. “At midnight there was a cry made,” “stand at the door, and knock” and “as a thief” refer to the Lord’s hidden coming, while “Behold, He comes with clouds” refers to His public appearance. This way, all the prophecies about the Lord’s second coming will be fulfilled.
So what is the hidden coming of God? In fact, the hidden coming of God refers to God becoming flesh and coming to earth as the Son of man, and this is all prophesied in the Bible.
We can take a look at a few prophecies from the Lord Jesus:
📕📕 “Be you therefore ready also: for the Son of man comes at an hour when you think not” (Luke 12:40).
📕📕 “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:37).
📕📕 “For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even to the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:27).
📕📕 “For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one part under heaven, shines to the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in His day. But first must He suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation” (Luke 17:24–25)."
Dear brothers and sisters, have you noticed a key word when examining these prophecies?
Yes, it is the “Son of man”! These prophecies all mention “the Son of man comes” and “the coming of the Son of man.” The Lord’s words clearly tell us that He returns in the last days as the Son of man and the Son of man is actually God’s incarnated flesh. This phrase the Son of man refers to One who is born to a human and has normal humanity. So the Spirit can’t be called the Son of man. For instance, because Jehovah God is Spirit, He cannot be called the Son of man. Some people have seen angels, angels are also spiritual beings, so they cannot be called the Son of man. All those that have the appearance of man but are composed of spiritual bodies cannot be called the Son of man.
The incarnate Lord Jesus was called the Son of man and Christ because He was the incarnate flesh of God’s Spirit and so became an ordinary and normal man, living in the company of humankind. So when the Lord Jesus prophesied that He would come again as the Son of man in the last days, He was referring to God’s coming through incarnation in the last days. To put it plainly, God will become an ordinary human again and come back.
In fact, it is easy for people to misunderstand the Lord’s second coming as the Son of man. Many people think that the Lord will come back in the image of the Lord Jesus, but this view is not correct. Why is it said so? We all know that after the Lord Jesus was crucified and resurrected, He changed His form and became a glorious spiritual body. The resurrected Lord Jesus only had the image of the Son of man, but His essence was not the Son of man.
Especially in Luke 17:24–25, it says📕📕 “First must He suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.” This further proves that the Lord will come again in the way of incarnation! Only the physical body can suffer; can the spiritual body suffer? The spiritual body of the Lord Jesus after He resurrected could penetrate walls, and fade in and fade out. When people saw Him, they would tremble in fear, prostrate and worship, who would dare to resist and condemn Him? In that case, He certainly wouldn’t experience any suffering and certainly wouldn’t be rejected by this generation. So, if He came in a spiritual body, this prophecy of the Lord Jesus would be untenable.
In addition, we must understand that these scriptures refer to things that will happen in the future, not to historical events that have already occurred in the past. The Lord Jesus, who was God for the first time becoming flesh as the Son of man, was crucified to complete the work of redeeming humanity—this is a fact that occurred 2,000 years ago. Therefore, when Jesus Christ prophesied “the Son of man comes” or the “coming of the Son of man,” He was referring to the Spirit of God taking on flesh and becoming a human being once again. This will be the second incarnation of God, not the Lord Jesus of 2000 years ago. This was prophesied by the Lord Jesus Himself.
Therefore, according to the prophecies in the Bible, in the last days, the Lord Jesus will come again in the form of a human, which means that God will be born into an ordinary family, and live in a normal body of flesh to do God’s work of salvation among humanity. This is the true meaning of these prophecies.
Is this aspect of truth easy for you to understand? I’m giving you a question. Please answer it actively. It doesn’t matter if you get it wrong. Anyone who can participate is great.
The Lord Jesus prophesied that He would come again as the Son of man in the last days. So, what does the coming of the Son of man mean?
A: God will become flesh and come as a human again.
B: He will come in the form of Spirit."
The correct answer is 🅰️ Thanks to God’s enlightenment and guidance, you have a good understanding of this truth.
Now we should be clear that the Son of man is God’s incarnated flesh. Some may ask, “What is the incarnation?” That’s a good question. Let’s take a look at some enlightening passages to help you understand.
In order to understand the truth in this area, we need to know what work God will do when He comes again. Let’s look at a few scriptures:
📕📕 “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth … and He will show you things to come” (John 16:12–13).
📕📕 “Sanctify them through Your truth: Your word is truth” (John 17:17)."
[07/06, 22:03] Giulia IW-Pst: "📚📚 “*The ‘incarnation’ is God’s appearance in the flesh; God works among created mankind in the image of the flesh. So for God to be incarnated, He must first be flesh, flesh with normal humanity; this is the most basic prerequisite. In fact, the implication of God’s incarnation is that God lives and works in the flesh, that God in His very essence becomes flesh, becomes a man.*”
📚📚 “*The incarnate God is called Christ, and Christ is the flesh donned by the Spirit of God. This flesh is unlike any man that is of the flesh. This difference is because Christ is not of flesh and blood; He is the incarnation of the Spirit. He has both a normal humanity and a complete divinity. His divinity is not possessed by any man. His normal humanity sustains all His normal activities in the flesh, while His divinity carries out the work of God Himself.*”
📚📚 “*God become flesh is called Christ, and so the Christ that can give people the truth is called God. There is nothing excessive about this, for He possesses the essence of God, and possesses God’s disposition, and wisdom in His work, that are unattainable by man. Those who call themselves Christ, yet cannot do the work of God, are frauds. Christ is not merely the manifestation of God on earth, but also the particular flesh assumed by God as He carries out and completes His work among man. This flesh cannot be supplanted by just any man, but is a flesh that can adequately bear God’s work on earth, and express the disposition of God, and well represent God, and provide man with life.*”
It's stated clearly that the incarnate God is Christ, and that incarnation is the realization of God’s Spirit in the flesh, which is to say that God’s Spirit puts on flesh to become an ordinary person, and then does the work He intends to do in the human world. Outwardly, the incarnate God is neither lofty nor extraordinary or supernatural, who eats, clothes Himself, and transports Himself just like ordinary people and lives an ordinary life. He needs to eat when He is hungry and sleep when He is tired, He experiences normal human emotions, He really and actually lives among man, and no one can see that He is God Himself.
Yet despite being such a normal, ordinary Son of man, there is a substantial difference between Him and created humans. He is the incarnation of God, and God’s Spirit is within Him. He has normal humanity, but also complete divinity, which is visible and tangible. It manifests mainly in that He can express the truth at any time or place. He can express and testify God’s disposition, all that God has and is, God’s mind and thoughts, God’s love, God’s wisdom and God’s omnipotence, so that all people can know and understand God. He can also reveal all of the mysteries in the Bible. It proves that the incarnate God has complete divinity.
Just like our Lord Jesus, He didn’t look much different from a human being on the outside. Think about this: What deeds of God did the Lord Jesus show?
The Lord Jesus could perform miracles, calm the storm and sea. He also could make the blind see, feed five thousand people with five loaves and two fish, and raise the dead."
The Lord Jesus also went far and wide to preach. According to man’s real needs, He expressed the truth to supply life and shepherd man at any time and any place, allowing man to see how His words and work were those of the real and practical God. The Lord Jesus’ words and work are a manifestation of God’s life disposition and all that God has and is. No created humans are possessed with this or are capable of reaching such attainments. Do you all agree?
In the last days, God will again incarnate as the Son of man, to speak, and do His work within the human world. The incarnate God, God in the flesh, is just like a human, who must be born to a human being, undergo a normal human growth process, and eat, drink, sleep and walk like a normal man. He will laugh when happy, cry when sad. In a word, the incarnate God has to have a normal human life that should be possessed by normal humanity. From His outward appearance, He doesn’t seem different than anyone else. However, the difference is that the incarnate God has the essence of divinity, with the Spirit of God dwelling within Him, and is God’s own holy flesh. This flesh can express countless truths, supply human life, do the work of purification, and completely save humans from the domain of Satan. This is something that no one else can possess or achieve.
Question 2: What is the incarnation of God?
A: The incarnation means that the Spirit of God is clothed with flesh. Although He looks like a human from the outside, He has the essence of God.
B: He is a spiritual body, flickering in and out of perception.
C: I don’t know.
The correct answer is: A . The incarnation means that the Spirit of God is clothed with flesh. Although He looks like a human from the outside, He has the essence of God.
You are all so excellent. Thank God for blessing you.
Speaking of this, some people may ask: Why doesn’t God work directly in spiritual form when He returns in the last days, but has to incarnate? If God appeared in a spiritual form, wouldn’t the entire human race be able to recognize Him and welcome His return?
In order to understand the truth in this area, we need to know what work God will do when He comes again. Let’s look at a few scriptures:
📕📕 “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth … and He will show you things to come” (John 16:12–13).
📕📕 “Sanctify them through Your truth: Your word is truth” (John 17:17)."
These prophecies are very clear: In the last days, God will become flesh and come to the earth to express many New truths, to do the work of purifying and saving people. This was God’s plan from long ago. Why do we, who believe in Jesus, still sin so often? It is because the sinful nature within us has not been eliminated, and we cannot break free from the bondage of sin on our own. Therefore, in the end times, God will come again to utter many truths that we have never seen or heard before, to remove our sinful natures. God’s kingdom is holy, and only those who have been cleansed of sin are qualified to enter it. In other words, when God comes again, He will speak the truth to humanity, and this is the way He will work to save people from the bondage of sin.
To express the truth to save humanity in the last days, why is it necessary for God to become incarnate again? 😊Let us explore this question through several scriptures and passages, and then you will understand.
📕📕 “And all the people saw the thunder, and the lightning, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. And they said to Moses, Speak you with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die” (Exodus 20:18–19).
📕📕 “Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spoke to Him” (John 12:28–29)."
📚📚“*God’s saving of man is not done directly using the method of the Spirit and the identity of the Spirit, for His Spirit can neither be touched nor seen by man, neither can man draw near. If He tried to save man directly using the perspective of the Spirit, man would be unable to receive His salvation. If God did not put on the outward form of a created man, there would be no way for man to receive this salvation. For man has no way of approaching Him, much as no one was able to go near the cloud of Jehovah. Only by becoming a created human being, that is, only by putting His word into the body of flesh that He is about to become, can He personally work the word into all who follow Him. Only then can man personally see and hear His word, and moreover enter into possession of His word, and by this means come to be fully saved. If God did not become flesh, no one of flesh and blood would be able to receive such great salvation, nor would a single person be saved. If the Spirit of God worked directly in the midst of mankind, all humanity would be struck down, or else, with no way of coming into touch with God, they would be completely carried away captive by Satan.*”
What do we see from all these?
When Jehovah God appeared and spoke to the Israelites on Mount Sinai, they all heard God’s voice as if it were thunder and they were filled with fear. They said to Moses, “Speak you to us, and we will hear: let not the Lord speak to us, lest we die” (Exodus 20:19).
God is holy, and we’re corrupt humans. We really can’t have direct contact with God’s Spirit. If we come into contact with the Spirit, we will be struck down by God, and there is a danger of death. God comes to save people. If everyone is struck down by God, how can He express the truth and save humanity?
Furthermore, John 12:28–29 makes it clear that when God’s Spirit speaks from heaven, people cannot understand it.
If God were to use the Spirit to express truth and save people, could we gain the truth to be purified and saved?
We couldn’t. How could we gain salvation without understanding God’s words?
Therefore, the Spirit coming directly to work is not the best way to save people."
But when God becomes flesh, it is different. Let’s take a look at two passages, which will help us understand.
📚📚“The best thing about His work in the flesh is that He can leave accurate words and exhortations, and His specific will for mankind to those who follow Him, so that afterward His followers can more accurately and more concretely pass on all of His work in the flesh, and His will for the whole of mankind, to those who accept this way. Only the work of God in the flesh among man truly accomplishes the fact of God’s being together and living together with man. Only this work fulfills man’s desire to behold the face of God, witness the work of God, and hear the personal word of God.”
In Summary:
1- Regarding the return of the Lord in the last days, there are TWO WAYS prophesied in the Bible that will be fulfilled in TWO STEPS: the Lord will first come back secretly as the Son of Man, and then He will appear publicly on a white cloud.
2- In the last days, the Lord will come in A NORMAL FLESH as the Son of Man, which is the incarnate God – God's Spirit hidden in normal flesh, this is what the secret coming of the Lord really means. His secret coming won't be in spirit form.
3- In the last days, this will be the SECOND time for God to be incarnated as God in the flesh, so the Lord will come back as the SECOND INCARNATION of God, not the first. The first incarnation is the Lord Jesus of 2000 years ago. However, in this discussion, we're referring to the second coming of the Lord in the last days!
