Almost a year after Senatorial by-elections, of what good did Bungoma elect the current office bearer? Is there something to smile about? Is the Senator delivering the promise?

What basis did you as a voter look into before casting your vote?

Was your interogation perfect?



There's need to ask searching questions as far as our current political leadership is concerned. Getting it right needs doing everything right in the first place.


The Bungoma county Senate position which is largely into oversight & revenue share allocation is the talk of town today. With the Power bestowed there with, the influence as far as County government performance is concerned , it demands to be the most talked about.


We need not to judge within a year but if asked today about the very same office, what will you respond back.


How many choices were you presented with on the ballot, what about the plan of each choice presented, mostly reffered to as AGENDA. To Contrast with one but the most vibrant during the campaign period *Hon. Julius Masinde,* whose Agenda stood out, what exactly was the differential fluid?




To Hon. Masinde, the majority youths were dear to his heart. He had crafted a plan of how he could sponsor bills for the benefit of all, the business community which he was part of, naturing & ensuring diversity talent development, Championing for proper if not enough revenue allocation to Bungoma County Government as well stand as the most trusted oversight tool for the people of Bungoma just to mention but a few...


This was one but the most lucrative AGENDA if pure interogation was something to go by. Today, the inquiry would have been into Masinde's first year in office & if execution of the above plan was evident & felt in the ground.


The office of the Senator is not for County-Governors' Bedmates or buddies, it is one that demands boldness, utmost resilience & commitment. One that demands more of an orator but a strong & committed people's Moran.


With the remaining four years, Bungoma got a good chance to think different if anything is against the big "promises!"


This should be a good opportunity to turn around the Tano Tena Lullabies & make the best out of those we elect into polical offices.


Do you think if  Hon. Julius Masinde got the chance things would still be the same as far as the office of the senator is concerned?
