  What you need to know: Two Wells Fargo Company employees disappeared with Quickmats Kes 94,918,750 The money was from Quickmat Supermarket Weekend sales. It was being taken to Family Bank, Kenyatta Avenue Branch. They are identified as , Anthony Ndiuki(Driver) & Charles Mugetha. Investigations are ongoing. Two employees of Wells Fargo Company have gone missing after taking Kes.94,918,750 that was collected from Quickmart supermarket.  A police report on Monday stated that the company’s driver Anthony Ndiuki, and Charles Mugetha left the company’s offices in South C at around 8.30 a.m.  The two, who were on board the company’s vehicle, left without police escort, as is the norm, with Ksh. 94.9 million.  The said money was from weekend sales of Quickmart supermarkets and was to be taken to the Family Bank Kenyatta Avenue branch.   Details of a police statement reads in part that the said motor vehicle was found dumped at Dafam area South C, next to the southern bypass, without the

8 DIE IN AN ACCIDENT AT NGATA AREA, NAKURU

What You need to know: The Accident involved a Matatu which was carrying passengers from Kitale to Nairobi & a truck. They collided head-on at NGATA Area in Nakuru along Soilo-Salgaa stretch of the Great North Road. 8 People diedas a result. At around 3:30 am today, a heart-wrenching incident unfolded in Ngata area, Nakuru, along the Soilo-Salgaa stretch of the Great North Road, resulting in the loss of eight lives. As reported by Nakuru County Police Commander, Samuel Ndanyi, this tragedy occurred when a Matatu, carrying passengers from Kitale to Nairobi, collided head-on with a truck. The Ngata stretch has long been known as one of the most dangerous black spots. The government had previously pledged to transform it into a dual road in an effort to reduce such accidents. I earnestly appeal to the government to expedite these improvements to prevent further road accidents. May the lost souls rest in peace!
